Psalm 78:38

SV	Doch Hij, barmhartig zijnde, verzoende de ongerechtigheid, en verdierf hen niet; maar wendde dikwijls Zijn toorn af, en wekte Zijn ganse grimmigheid niet op.
WLC	וְה֤וּא רַח֨וּם ׀ יְכַפֵּ֥ר עָוֹן֮ וְֽלֹא־יַ֫שְׁחִ֥ית וְ֭הִרְבָּה לְהָשִׁ֣יב אַפֹּ֑ו וְלֹֽא־יָ֝עִיר כָּל־חֲמָתֹֽו׃
Trans.	wəhû’ r^aḥûm yəḵapēr ‘āwōn wəlō’-yašəḥîṯ wəhirəbâ ləhāšîḇ ’apwō wəlō’-yā‘îr kāl-ḥămāṯwō:

AC	לח והוא רחום יכפר עון-- ולא-ישחית והרבה להשיב אפו ולא-יעיר כל-חמתו
ASV	But he, being merciful, forgave [their] iniquity, and destroyed [them] not: Yea, many a time turned he his anger away, And did not stir up all his wrath.
BE	But he, being full of pity, has forgiveness for sin, and does not put an end to man: frequently turning back his wrath, and not being violently angry.
Darby	But he was merciful: he forgave the iniquity, and destroyed [them] not; but many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his fury:
ELB05	Er aber war barmherzig, er vergab die Ungerechtigkeit und verderbte sie nicht; und oftmals wandte er seinen Zorn ab und ließ nicht erwachen seinen ganzen Grimm.
LSG	Toutefois, dans sa miséricorde, il pardonne l'iniquité et ne détruit pas; Il retient souvent sa colère et ne se livre pas à toute sa fureur.
Sch	Er aber war barmherzig und vergab die Schuld und vertilgte sie nicht und hat oftmals seinen Zorn abgewandt und nicht allen seinen Grimm erweckt;
Web	But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: yes, many a time he turned his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.
